PCG Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by Pocket Card Grading. By submitting cards for grading, you agree to these terms in full.

2. Services

We provide professional trading card grading services, including evaluation, grading, and encapsulation.

All grading is carried out using our internal standards and expert assessment.

3. Orders & Payment

  • All orders must be paid in full before processing begins

  • Pricing is charged per card based on selected service tier

  • All orders are final once submitted and paid for

  • No cancellations or refunds will be issued once grading has commenced

4. Turnaround Times

  • Turnaround times (e.g. 1 day, 7 day, 1 month) are estimates

  • Delays may occur due to volume, shipping or unforeseen circumstances

  • We are not liable for delays outside our control

5. Shipping & Risk

  • Customers are responsible for shipping cards to us safely

  • We strongly recommend tracked and insured postage

Once cards are returned:

  • Responsibility transfers to the customer upon dispatch

  • We are not liable for delays or losses caused by couriers

6. Damaged Items

If a graded card becomes damaged while in transit after grading:

  • We will re-encapsulate the card where appropriate

  • This applies only to damage relating to the slab/encapsulation

  • We are not responsible for damage to the card itself caused during shipping

7. Grading Disclaimer

  • Grading is based on expert opinion and industry standards

  • Grades are final and non-negotiable

  • We do not guarantee future market value of any graded card

8. Liability

  • We take care in handling all submissions

  • However, we are not liable for:

    • Pre-existing damage

    • Loss or damage during shipping

    • Market value changes

9. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse grading for any item at our discretion.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
